Petit Chablis

Tasting notes:

With its clear golden robe and brilliant highlights, the Petit Chablis is only small in name. It is a convivial wine, perfect for an aperitif amongst friends or family. It also goes well with summer salads, seafood, fish. Egg dishes, Burgundian snails, or the famous andouillette of Chablis. Equally adapted to goat’s cheese or harder cheeses like Gruyère, Comté, Beaufort...

Can be drunk young, but is best after two or three years.

Serve at 8°C as an aperitif, or 9 to 10°C at the table.

BURGUNDY REPORT - 2024 edition

Petit Chablis 2022 vintage

Le nez est un peu timide au départ - le verre de dégustation est très (trop) petit. En bouche, c'est charmant - avec un volume fin mais sans énergie excessive et une très jolie saveur finale - tout simplement délicieux, un Petit Chablis de classe.

BURGUNDY REPORT - 2023 edition

Petit Chablis 2021 vintage

A broad nose that’s a little spiced. A width of quite powerful flavours, mineral too. A modest rigour then floral perfumed to finish.

Swings and Roundabouts: Chablis 2020/2021 par Neal Martin - 2022 edition

Petit Chablis 2020 vintage : 90

The 2020 Petit Chablis is one of the few examples of its category with a slightly flinty bouquet. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, touches of peach skin and a dab of spice, cohesive and quite persistent on the finish, this is a fine Petit Chablis.

DECANTER - 2023 edition

Petit Chablis 2022 vintage : 88/100

Greener characters on both nose and palate. Appealing, fleshy stone fruit cut with vibrant acidity. Would benefit from another six months in bottle.
