Our Petit Chablis comes from a hillside parcel of vines with a limestone-marne soil, ideally facing due South which gives it the advantage of excellent natural maturity.
8°C - 10°C
With its clear golden robe and brilliant highlights, the Petit Chablis is only small in name. It is a convivial wine, perfect for an aperitif amongst friends or family. It also goes well with summer salads, seafood, fish. Egg dishes, Burgundian snails, or the famous andouillette of Chablis. Equally adapted to goat’s cheese or harder cheeses like Gruyère, Comté, Beaufort...
Can be drunk young, but is best after two or three years.
Serve at 8°C as an aperitif, or 9 to 10°C at the table.
Wine lover’s notes:
A pale yellow colour with hints of grey. The nose is very elegant, finessed with notes of yellow fruits, and mineral. This minerality is also apparent in the mouth, with a finish reminiscent of fresh apricots and citrus fruit. The length of the mouth is notable thanks to a fine acidic balance.
